More about these tools
Type slowly and watch for a key that arrives twice from one press. Circle the mouse and read its report rate in Hz. Roll the wheel and look for ticks that go the wrong way. Drag a finger across a touchscreen to find strips that do not respond, press every button and stick on a controller, and turn a phone to watch its motion sensors answer. A browser sits between the hardware and the page, so timing figures are estimates, and each page says how close it can get. Nothing you press or type is recorded or sent.
