A maestoso metronome marking is not a number you can look up. Wikipedia's Tempo article lists Maestoso, majestically or stately, among its additional terms with no figure. This pad opens at 88, the middle of one metronome dial's Maestoso band.

What tempo is maestoso: fast or slow?
Neither by rule. Wikipedia's article on the word calls it more an interpretive choice, not always tied to a specific tempo or range, and says it is common in pieces that are not fast. A maestoso tempo is the speed of the word beside it.
Does a metronome dial give a maestoso BPM?
One of three does. Among the metronomes pictured in German Wikipedia's Tempo article only the present-day Japanese one carries the word, over 84 to 92, after Andantino and before Moderato. That is one maker's placing, and only a rough one by the article's own account.
What is the andante maestoso BPM?
The andante maestoso tempo is an andante's: 56 to 108 beats a minute in Wikipedia's list of tempo markings, figures it calls very rough. Maestoso adds manner, not speed, and this pad's 88 lies inside. Allegro maestoso takes the list's Allegro, 120 to 156.
Is there a printed andante maestoso metronome marking?
Wikipedia's table of Beethoven's Ninth Symphony shows one: the finale's Andante maestoso, in 3/2, at half note = 72. Type 72 and each click is a half note. The first movement, Allegro ma non troppo, un poco maestoso, stands at quarter note = 88.
Why can't I hear the metronome?
