How it works
An andantino metronome setting is 80 to 108 beats a minute in Wikipedia's list of common tempo markings. The list reads the word as a little quicker than andante yet short of moderato, and its figures as very rough approximations.

Questions and answers
What is the metronome setting for andantino?
80 to 108 beats a minute, by Wikipedia's list of common tempo markings. The most common wind-up scale in its Metronome article has eight settings there, four apart: 80, 84, 88, 92, 96, 100, 104 and 108. The 99 here lies between two.
Is andantino on a metronome slower or faster than andante?
Faster, in the list's main reading, though it adds that the word is sometimes understood as slightly slower. Its figures side with faster: Andante spans 56 to 108 and Andantino keeps to the top of that, from 80 up.
Why does andantino have two meanings?
Its sense moved. The Tempo article says the exact meaning of many tempo words has changed over time and counts Andantino among them, beside Allegretto and Adagietto. Wikipedia's glossary of music terminology places the slower reading in earlier use.
Is andante moderato the same speed as andantino?
In this list, yes: each has 80 to 108. Only the words differ. Andante moderato is described as between andante and moderato, Andantino as just above andante. Both stop at 108, where Moderato starts, and begin at 80, where the march-like Marcia moderato ends.
Why can't I hear the metronome?
Try the ring switch on the side of the phone first, then the volume, then Bluetooth: any of the three can leave the click unheard. The beat can be seen meanwhile, as the pad's two dots light one after the other at the tempo.
