How it works
A typing lesson for the bottom row, Z X C V B N M: 12 drill lines and 81 words that each hold two or more bottom-row letters. The row has no vowel, so every word here leans on A.

Seven letters and no vowel
No vowel sits on the bottom row, and in the ENABLE word list only mm stays on it. So each word here borrows from the middle row: canvas, mammal, backhand. Every one has an A and at least two bottom-row letters.
Which finger reaches down
Each finger drops from its home key: little finger to Z, ring to X, middle to C. The index fingers take two keys each, V and B on the left and N and M on the right. Under More options, Practise has Reaches down from the middle row, which drills each drop, such as fvfv and jnjn.
Questions and answers
Which finger types B?
The left index finger, in standard touch typing. It rests on F and covers V below it and B one key farther in. The right index finger does the same for M and N.
Are there words typed on the bottom row only?
Not real ones. The row has no vowel, and the only entry in the ENABLE word list of 172,820 that stays on it is mm. Add the middle row and words open up: jazz, canvas, flashback.
Can I time the bottom row lesson?
Yes. The page opens on No timer. Under More options, choose 30 s or 60 s: the lines come around until the clock stops, with WPM and accuracy at the end.
